Minecraft Forge API is a very useful mod loading and execution tool that also helps developers to make better mods the whole Minecraft community can enjoy. This mod is now compatible with Minecraft 1.10.2 but it may contain some bugs, so be careful while using it. This tool was developed not only so other mods would work properly, but so players could turn on and off the mods they want (or don’t want) to play with, with the click of a mouse in an easy-to-read window, rather than making them dig through their Minecraft data and mods folders to switch things on and off manually. It is incompatible with Modloader though, so don’t even try to play with both programs installed. An example of its effective use would be players installing multiple mods with similar functionality without experiencing any errors or glitches, while developers can connect their mods without having to worry about any conflicts with other connected mods. Minecraft Forge API is more than just a mod loading tool, however. It also helps players who are designing their own mods by ensuring compatibility with Minecraft Forge API. This makes player-made mods more efficient than if they were being made without concern for compatibility, and thanks to an updated GUI, Forge will let players know if an improperly installed mod will cause the game to crash, before the player starts their game and experiences said crash.
In other words, Minecraft Forge is an open-source tool or a mod layer which provides modding capabilities to both developers and players. It allows them to remove and sometimes minimize the incompatibilities between Minecraft mods. For instance; players can install multiple mods of similar functionality without any glitches or errors. On the other hand developers can hook their mods rightly without worrying about conflicts with other mods. By not only allowing modders to design their mods to be compatible with the Minecraft Forge mod, and implementing a type of usage technique; including a new unique GUI, this makes the mod not only extremely efficient, but also very intelligent. It introducing a new GUI, labelled; Mods. When selecting the “mods” menu selection, in your menu; you will be shown with a new screen, similar to the “options”. This selection will inform the user/player of which mods have installed correctly. It works to try and stop the game crashing if or when a mod stops working. However it is still likely that your game will crash if the mod you have tried to install has gone terribly wrong. However if it doesn’t work, it will notify you inside the menu selection.
